A relationship between people and nature: this work expresses a sense of tension between the two.

I sincerely hope that it will be a symbol of exploring how both sides ought to be. A sphere-shaped plant is enclosed by a red cube to highlight and inevitably draw our attention to ordinary plants that we don’t usually care about.

Because the installation site was to be within premises of a school that is closely related to nature, I proposed creating something that involves the students. 

Through watering and maintenance, I hope this work will inspire them to open their eyes to various fields including art and greening.
